Same Time, Next Year

Same Room. Same Weekend. Twenty-Five Years.

Brunswick Little Theatre is proud to present the beloved romantic comedy Same Time, Next Year by Bernard Slade, directed by Elizabeth Michaels.

Running August 6–23, this classic and poignant play follows the extraordinary relationship between two married strangers whose chance meeting at a country inn leads to an unexpected tradition: reconnecting for one weekend each year in the same room, over the course of twenty-five years.

As the decades unfold, audiences experience the laughter, challenges, cultural changes, and personal growth that shape their lives and deepen their connection. Filled with sharp wit, heartfelt moments, and unforgettable dialogue, Same Time, Next Year has remained a favorite with audiences for generations.
