Brunswick Little Theatre (BLT) is kicking off 2026 with a lineup of new workshops offering theatre enthusiasts, aspiring actors, armchair directors and wannabe producers, the opportunity to learn from experienced industry veterans. The workshops under consideration will cover set design, acting techniques, stage managing, audition and producing protocols and directing. Workshops are designed for beginners ages 15-70.
“Our objective is to cultivate talent and nurture confidence both on and off the stage,” said Rick Roberts, BLT board member and workshop coordinator. “Whether you’re are a novice or a seasoned actor, these workshops are designed to spark creativity and develop skills. Community theatre thrives when everyone has the opportunity to participate. There is no charge for these classes and be you a new or a familiar face, we welcome you to our stage.” Roberts, a retired college professor, has over 25 years experience in various areas of community theatre from ushering to directing more than 100 performances, including an opera.
Brunswick Little Theatre is a non-profit 501(c)(3) all volunteer organization that strives to build community by bringing others together through learning, exploring and playing.
