END DAYS- 

END DAYS IS  rapturously funny play you won’t want to miss, especially if you enjoy a little thought-challenge to go along with your theatre fix.  

Sixteen-year-old Rachel Stein is having a bad year.  Her father hasn’t changed out of his pajamas since 9/11.   Her mother has begun a close, personal relationship with Jesus, convinced the Apocalypse is coming…on Wednesday.  Left behind by both, Rachel shields herself with sarcasm  and black eyeliner. 

Into this volatile mix steps Nelson, a relentlessly optimistic, science-obsessed classmate who has a crush on Rachel and dresses as Elvis.  

Through him – and imagined appearances of Jesus and Stephen Hawking – the Steins confront the gulf between science and faith, certainty and doubt, fear and hope.
